The purpose of this experiment was to show that more and faster frames in an animated gif would provide for smoother movement.
I started by creating the dancing man. The version on the right is the one with more and faster frames. You can judge for yourself whether you think the movement is smoother. I'm not sure it is, because the little guy is so wiggly that the one with fewer and slower frames may seem smoother.
